Meeting Highlights & Program

 

October 2012

 

No program was presented at the October club meeting.  The members shared additional show and tell items in the place of a program.

 

 

Show & Tell

Club members brought the following treasures for Show and Tell!  Here are some highlights from this meeting.  Descriptions of each treasure is found below the pictures using the corresponding number.

 

 

1.
Duncan chartreuse #115-122 Canterbury candlesticks and comport, made from 1949 through the 1950s.
2.
Heisey crystal Orchid sugar and creamer.
3.
On the left is aCambridge Gold Krystol Wildflower #400/4 12" 4-toed bowl.
On the right is aCambridge Gold Edge Wildflower #1402/98 6½" 2-handle nappy.

Fenton Cameo Opalescent Knobby Bull’s Eye bell and Lily of the Valley covered comport.

Westmoreland Glass Satin Yellow spiral candlesticks.

Plush Nativity set.

In the upper left is a Camark yellow teapot and warmer; Camark operated in Camden, Arkansas, from 1927 to 1983.
In the upper right is a clear pedestal cake stand from an unknown manufacturer.
In the lower left is a Imperial Glass clear Cape Cod 4 ½” handled spider, made between 1947 and 1979.
In the lower right is a Jeannette Glass clear Harp cup and saucer.

On the left is a US Glass clear Rising Sun sugar bowl with ruby flashing, circa 1906.
In the middle is a pattern glass goblet with gold trim, manufacturer unknown.
The two left glasses are Hocking Glass pink Block Optic 4 7/8” tumblers, one straight and one with a flared lip, made from 1929 to 1933.

Narumi China place setting in Shasta Pine, made in Japan; the mark includes: Minimum guarantee of open stock 1958.
10.
Imperial Glass Fern Green Reeded 11 ½” vase.
11.
Red Wing Driftwood bread plate, made in 1953 as part of the 75th anniversary line.
12.
On the left are Fostoria yellow Heirloom spike candleholders, made from 1959 to the 1970s.
On the right are Morgantown Spanish Red and Ritz Blue #7622 ½ Ringling tumblers with white bands.
13.
On the left are Fostoria Ebony Scroll candleholders.
On the right are Cambridge crystal Calla Lily candleholders.
14.
On the left are Morgantown Steel Blue small decanter and water bottle.
On the right are Morgantown Ebony #3008 Vision decanter and footed cordials.
