Meeting Highlights & Program

September 2015

Bev shared pieces from her beautiful set of Franciscan Autumn, just in time for the change of seasons! Franciscan produced the Autumn patter from 1955 to 1958, using the Flair line of shapes that they introduced in 1954. Autumn was the third of nine patterns produced on Flair shapes. The pieces are simple and fluid, with bold graphics and a lively sense of motion. Bev was drawn to the pattern because she loves fall and all the colorful foliage in the Midwest. Bev's collection was assembled for the most part from two local estate sales, one having the bulk of the place pieces and the other with more of the serving pieces. She likes to use her Autumn in Autumn! Bev shared the following pieces from her collection:

  • 16 " platter
